Core Hardware
Pride P85 is using a Mediatek MT6580 chipset with a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor and 1 GB RAM. At this price range, the RAM and processor are alright. For storage, there is 16 GB internal storage and 32 GB micro SD card support. It is very exciting to find 16 GB internal memory and multiple encryption facilities.
Colors Pride P85 has a 2500 mAh battery and is running Android Marshmallow. The phone encompasses the best functions of Marshmallow such as adoptable storage, doze mode, and app standby. On top of that Colors uses close-to-stock Android, so there is better optimization and less bloat.
Fingerprint Scanner on Budget
There are lots of new features and a huge focus on security. So for security, there is a fingerprint scanner on the front side. The front home button is round shaped like iPhone and has a fingerprint scanner like TouchID. This button can be pressed to perform many actions such as going home, turning the screen on or off, etc. The sensor also provides secure and attractive features like App Locker, Message encryption, and much more.

Display and Cameras
This phone has a very good 8 MP back camera with triple LED flash for better color. This camera can take a maximum of HD 720p videos and take well-colored photos in dark situations with the help of a triple LED flash. We also get a 5 MP front-facing selfie camera which can take selfies using a fingerprint sensor too. It makes picture-taking easy and more accessible.
On top of the slim and nice body, we have a 5” IPS display with 720×1280 HD resolution. Five inches is a good size for a budget phone and getting high-definition resolution is even better. Some phones at this price are even coming with 480p resolution. So when compared to those, it’s far better.
Conclusion
The Colors Pride P85 is a good-budget smartphone with a quad-core processor, 16 GB storage, and features such as a fingerprint scanner. As usual, it has features such as dual SIM with 3G support. There is an ambient light sensor and a G sensor as well. The HD display, fingerprint sensor, internal memory size, and battery at this price deserve applause. It is a solid competitor for the new CG Eon Blaze Pro.
Colors should now focus on this phone and bring an Android 7 Nougat update soon. It is now time for all the mobile phone companies to move towards 4G but Colors has missed that. It can get a pass due to its price. Overall we like this device and its offering. It is a recommended phone from our side to experience new exciting features.
