Colors is always coming up with new smartphones in the budget segment and Colors Xfactor Elite E15 is a new one in their portfolio. They come with smartphones that show innovation, reasonable features, and good design at a great affordable price range. Most of their smartphones are in the entry-level category. Colors Elite E15 in the market falls under the Xfactor family and Elite series as many other previous phones. Besides being a budget smartphone with mediocre hardware, one of the most special things about this phone is its big 5000 mAh battery. The Colors Xfactor Elite E15 price in Nepal is Rs 12,400 and it is coming to the market with many things to offer.
One of the major things about Colors Xfactor Elite E15 is that the battery is bumped to a massive size of 5000 mAh. We also checked the device and from a short use, we found that it has a better build quality than many other phones on the market. The best part of this phone is that for the first time, Colors is providing six months warranty on the screen. The company will replace the display for once if it is wrecked within the warranty period. Almost no mobile phone company provides such a screen breakage warranty at this price. So that is already a big plus and they get big thumbs up from us.
In the past, Colors launched Elite E10 which is its predecessor. Then the company also launched Xfactor Elite E20 which came with a bigger screen and a higher price. Now this new Colors Xfactor Elite E15 actually sits between these two phones. E15 has higher RAM and storage than E20 but it has a smaller screen and bigger battery. So in a sense, it is more performance and budget-oriented.

Camera and Screen
On the front side, Colors Xfactor Elite E15 has a 5-inch IPS LCD screen with 720×1280 HD resolution. It has an Asahi Dragontrail glass cover for protection. The Dragontrail glass is similar to Gorilla Glass and it is great to see that Colors is providing screen protection in the budget segment. This is another plus point for this phone. At this price bracket, no other phone company gives special screen protection glass.
In the camera department, there is an 8 MP primary sensor at the backside which can shoot 1280x720p videos. Similarly, there is a 5 MP camera at the front for selfies and video calls. We tested the camera and found that both cameras perform on average. Besides, we also can’t ask for more than or a better camera on such a budget.
Conclusion
Colors said that they are also providing a new Data saving feature in this phone. This feature helps users to save mobile data when they are outside and not using WiFi for the internet. In Nepal, data is very expensive and data saver is quite important. From now on, all new Colors smartphones will have this feature for data saving.
