Internal Hardware: Processor, RAM, Battery
Now let’s talk about the major thing which is core internal hardware. Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G is powered by a Snapdragon 695 processor which is quite a powerful mid-range processor that came last year. This is a 5G capable chipset and Xiaomi is providing full support for next-generation 5G with this handset. Xiaomi is using LiquidCool technology to provide cooling on this chip with help of multiple layers of graphite and copper foil. The Snapdragon 695 is paired with UFS 2.2 storage and LPDDR4X RAM. The base variant comes with 6 GB RAM and 64 GB storage.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro is powered by a 5000 mAh battery which supports 67W charging. The company is providing chargers in the box which is awesome. According to the company website, the phone can be charged 50% in 15 minutes and 100% in 42 minutes. Those are great speeds and we like the fact that the company is providing such high-power chargers in the box.
Display and Cameras
Redmi Note 11 Pro has a 6.67 Super AMOLED screen at the front with 1080×2400 resolution. It has a 120 Hz refresh rate, 395 PPI pixel density, DCI-P3 wide color gamut, 1200 nits peak brightness, and Reading mode 3.0. The screen is also protected by Gorilla Glass 5. On top, there is a hole punch with a 16 MP selfie camera which is capable of recording 1080p videos at the highest settings.
The backside of the phone has three cameras and one LED flash. On Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G, the primary rear camera is a 108 MP wide-angle camera with f/1.9 aperture, the secondary camera is an 8 MP ultrawide with 118˚ field of view and the third camera is a 2 MP macro camera. The rear camera setup can only record videos at 1920×1080 at 30 fps. The image sensor size is 1/1.52” and the software uses 9-in-1 binning technology. In our view, FHD recording is good but, they could have at least provided slow-motion or 1080p 60 fps and maybe 4K video recording. That could have made the camera much better.
