Local and Special Features
We were briefed that Samsung develops features by studying the needs of the local region. Thus, these phones come with features meant for the people of Nepal. They aren’t found on smartphones in other regions. Specially Samsung smartphones in South Asia have very niche features. These features include Ultra Data Saving (UDS), Ultra Power Saving Mode (UPS), S Bike Mode, Turbo Speed Technology (TST), S Power Planning, and S Secure.
Turbo Speed Technology is very helpful for increasing system performance and memory management. Ultra Power Saving Mode and Ultra Data Saving features are also our favorite features. They give maximum result for battery life and saving mobile data. The S Power Planning is new technology that enhances battery life even more. So Samsung Galaxy J2 Ace should enjoy new features.

Display and Cameras
Samsung Galaxy J2 Ace has a 5” TFT LCD screen with a resolution of 540×960. It is not HD but it is decent, however, an HD resolution could have been better. Now for the front camera, there is a 5-megapixel sensor with f/2.2 aperture which is also standard as it can take a decent selfie. The major enhancement this phone has is an LED flash for the selfie camera. This can help users take better low-light selfies.
The camera department at the back includes an 8-megapixel sensor with f/2.2 aperture and a have LED flash. This camera can take very good quality high-resolution photos and 720p HD videos. 8-megapixel cameras are also standard on budget smartphones. It is enough for normal quality pictures but won’t perform that high if you really compare it to Galaxy J5 or Galaxy J7 smartphones.
Impression and Conclusion
Samsung Galaxy J2 Ace is a pure budget-friendly smartphone that covers all aspects that it should. It packs a great battery, large SD card support, and a new OS. The processor, RAM, and internal storage are pretty good considering the price. Users can get very good battery life and decent performance depending on usage level.
The camera on J2 Ace is also powerful enough to serve and fulfill basic demands. We have always found Samsung’s camera quality very good in all of their devices. It is due to their software processing. Samsung has made a balanced phone but they should however try to upgrade internal storage next time. In total, this is a very good phone if it falls within your budget.
