Design and Build
Otto Mark has a metal unibody construction using aluminum. It has a rectangular form factor with is 8.6mm thick body, slightly curved back, and rounded corners. It has a large front screen with a thin chin and forehead. The forehead has an earpiece, sensor, and camera while the chin has nothing. Just like many new phones, Otto Mark also has navigation buttons showing inside the screen. This is new practice but the navigation buttons actually take precious screen real estate.

The back has a premium metallic finish with a fingerprint scanner at the reachable place. Then just above the fingerprint scanner, there is an LED flash and camera. Otto Mark has flat side rails with a volume rocker on the left and a power button on the right side. Speaker grills and USB port are at the bottom while the headphone jack is at the top side.
Core Internal Hardware
This phone is targeted to the upper budget range segment so it has slightly higher specifications. Otto Mark comes with MediaTek quad-core processor, Mali T720 GPU, 3 GB RAM, 32 GB storage, and 128 GB micro SD support. The core specification set is standard for this budget and has a 3845 mAh battery which is quite a good size for a phone like this with a big screen.
Otto Mark is running with Android 6 Marshmallow with the company’s own UI on top. It is a new phone so it should get FOTA for new Android in another update cycle. The phone has dual SIM and 4G support. So it is ready to provide two SIM and has a 4G or 3G network. In the case of color, Otto Mark is available in only two colors, which are Space Grey and Champagne Gold.
Screen and Cameras
This is a massive phone or as some people call it a phablet-sized device. The Otto Mark comes with a 6” IPS LCD screen which has HD 720p resolution. The glass on top of the screen is 2.5D which means there are slight curves at the edge of the display. The 2.5D gives a smooth and premium feeling but also looks good. This massive screen is for people who like to consume media, watch videos, and want maximum entertainment.

The cameras on this phone include a 13-megapixel sensor at the back with a dual-tone LED Flash and an 8-megapixel sensor at the front. Both of these modules can capture high-resolution images and Full HD videos as well. So the camera is quite good and decent as it should be for the price. This use of 13MP at the back and 8 MP at the front is standard practice in the industry.
Summing Up
Otto Mark is offering great specs, better hardware, solid design and build at a upper mid-range price tag. The screen of the phone is big which can satisfy people who need huge display real estate. The battery is the best part because it is big and powerful, so it will help run the device longer. It also features fast charging facility which is big plus point. The cameras pixel count are to the market standard and we can’t expect higher than this. We certainly like inclusion of Gyroscope in Otto Mark because users can enjoy 360 videos and VR.
In the overall assessment, Otto Mark is a good phone for the price but if you want even better hardware, a camera, and a much faster processor just for a small addition in price then go for Infocus Epic 1. As for Otto Mark, customers can get a free Jelly Back Cover and Tempered Glass with each purchase. Smartphones of this company are available at major retailers around Kathmandu. The official customer care center is on the 4th floor of Civil Mall and their Toll-free number is 16600112119 for more details.
