On the front side, there is a large 5” screen that looks nice. Moreover, the screen is an IPS display with a 1280x720p resolution which provides crispy details. The 720p IPS display is a really good thing to have in the budget segment.
On the backside of the smartphone, there is the main camera, dual-tone LED flash and company branding. Overall the design of the Xfactor Elite E10 looks very standard and pleasing for the price.
Processor, Core Hardware and Cameras
Colors Xfactor Elite E10 has a Spreadtrum chipset with a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor and Mali-400 GPU. The phone has 2 GB RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. This combination provides adequate power for mediocre performance. While some of the biggest mobile manufacturers are removing the expandable storage option, this mobile is providing support for up to 32 GB of micro SD card.
Elite E10 is a phone with basic hardware and it runs on stock Android 5.1.1 OS. This provides a better software experience due to less bloat and faster animations. In the battery section, there is a 2100 mAh battery. According to Colors, the battery will support the device for up to 9 hrs for talk time or 5 hrs music playback. In the case of connectivity, dual SIM card feature is also available on this phone. Moreover, for network reception, both 2G and 3G are supported by both SIM cards.

Pricing and Verdict
Colors Xfactor E10 price in Nepal is Rs 12,915. With each purchase, the company is also giving a free new see-through leather case which will display an analog clock on standby and show a digital clock if the screen is swiped toward the left. At the price of Rs 12,915 ($120), most budget smartphones don’t provide 2 GB RAM but Xfactor Elite is, therefore Colors has a huge advantage here.
Anyway many of the phones from other companies of the same price range are providing similar processors and nearly equivalent cameras. However, Colors has an edge over other products from the competition due to the higher memory capacity of RAM. Elite E10 also has a good screen, which adds another benefit.
The specifications may not be to your expectation. However, it is very good for the price and present market. Colors is actually doing it right with the latest OS and other features. Even though it is a budget phone, there is a 720p screen and the latest software. Colors especially targets the budget Nepali market so they make products that fit for local budget and need. So, at a glance, the hardware is sensible for price and offers.
