Chinese electronics leader Huawei has lot to offer this year. They are changing the mid range market segment swiftly. Their Nova 2i was huge hit in the market due to camera. Huawei Y9 2018 is another addition to mid range family this year. The price of Huawei Y9 in Nepal is Rs 25,900. The company is offering A1 Fitness band to the pre-bookers as well.
Huawei Y9 features a 5.93” IPS LCD with 1080×2160 screen resolution. Company is calling it Full View display which is basically 18:9 aspect ratio. It has a solid metal unibody construction all around. Under the big display, the chest hosts HiSilicon Kirin 659 SOC with octa core processor. It consists one 2.36 GHz quad core and next 1.7 GHz LP quad core sets.
Company is offering 3 GB RAM and 32 GB Storage model to Nepali consumers at first. It is a dual SIM phone with 4G. Y9 can support up to 256 GB SD cards for expansion purpose. At back there is a 4000 mAh battery which is pretty impressive. This smartphone is running on Android Oreo with EMUI 8.0 on top.

Coming to the prime attraction we have total of 4 cameras in this phone. Two at back side and two at front side. The back side has one 16 MP f/2.2 and one 2 MP camera with PDAF. Front side has a 13 MP f/2.0 sensor and another 2 MP sensor. The dual cameras help to get better depth of field blur effect in photos. Cameras of both sides can record maximum FHD videos at 30 fps.
Huawei Y9 has a nice looking design with a tall display. As regular, fingerprint sensor is at back of the phone. This phone is in a high competition price range. In simple overview it shows a lot of power packed in. It has all the specs that should be in phone of this price range. Camera department shows a lot of promise and power as well.
