Jaima Intercontinental Pvt. Ltd launched new OTTO mark in Nepal. It is the newer addition in market after OTTO Chekr. It was a health centered bar phone with special features. Now new Frank Dual is entry level phone with some interesting features. It features dual camera, fingerprint sensor and quad core processor. OTTO Frank Dual’s Current price in Nepal is Rs 9,996.
We were fascinated by the name at first. It is because Otto Frank was father of famous Anne Frank. Anyway, this new budget phone has surprising features in such price. There are few things here that we have never seen in entry level phone. OTTO Frank has a metallic body which gives it strong and sturdy build.
OTTO Frank Specs
There is 5” 720p IPS LCD display on top of which a 2.5D glass lies. It is a tough laminated glass for better protection. Inside, the phone is packing Mediatek 6580 SOC with 1.3 GHz quad core processor. It has 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB internal storage. Users can use SD card up to 64 GB if they need.
Things are very interesting with camera here. Dual camera is now becoming common in high end and mid range segment. But OTTO Frank is introducing dual cameras at back in entry level Android. This is a great thing to see. This phone features 8 MP and 2 MP camera sets at back. At front, there is a 2 MP shooter for selfie and video chat. The Sony IMX sensors at back helps shoot decent pictures with good bokeh effect.
Frank Dual is running Android Nougat with a custom UI on top. A 2200 mAh powers the smartphone. There is a fingerprint scanner at front and few gesture features are also provided to ease the use. LED notification is present on this phone which is exceptional and brilliant.
Impression
OTTO is company from Singapore and new in Nepal. But their new entry level phone of 2017 is very interesting. It is providing great features compared to price. Considering price of the phone, people are getting very good hardware compared to other manufacturers. Metal body, HD display, fingerprint scanner are rare to find on cheap phones.
Internal storage is also very good and we really can’t complain about RAM here. Dual Camera and LED notifications are extra cheese for this delicacy. In our view OTTO Frank Dual provides an excellent value in hardware for the price.
