Oppo A7 is one of the latest mobile phone in the market. It is a mid range phone and has a great looking display with water-drop notch. Companies are now decreasing the notch and increasing screen real estate with this new design approach. It looks great in our view and A7 brings it to the table. The Oppo A7 price in Nepal is Rs 35,790 and this makes it sit in mid range segment.
Oppo smartphones are very popular in Nepal and they are doing great in the international market as well. They have quite a lot of famous phones these days. Oppo A7 is very new in global market and Nepal is one of the first countries to get it. The Oppo F7 has a 6.2″ IPS LCD screen with 720 X 520 resolution. There is a water drop notch at top which looks better than other bigger notches.

The phone is currently at pre-booking from Oppo Showroom at New Road. This mobile is going live very soon in Nepali market. The A7 has a Qualcomm chipset with octa core processor. The Oppo A7 comes with mediocre processor with maximum 4 GB RAM. The internal storage is 32 GB which is minimum these days. It does have 256 GB SD card support so users can store more files there. This phone comes with two great things in our view. First is the display because notch is smaller. The resolution is just HD+ not FHD+ but there is Gorilla Glass protection so there is a counterbalance in feature here.

Next best thing is the battery in this mobile. Oppo A7 is loaded with 4230 mAh battery which is pretty massive and it surely can power this mobile for one day easily. The chipset is also very power efficient and the resolution is also just HD+. Users should be able to pull of good screen on time with all types of usage. In camera section there is a 13 MP main sensor and there is 2 MP depth sensing one.
Oppo is also pushing good selfie camera in this phone with a 16 MP sensor at front. This smartphone is also targeted towards the youth so we see higher resolution front sensor. Still the rear camera should be capable of taking very good pictures with 5P Lens. There is multi-frame image stabilization which helps to take good videos. The front camera has HDR and AR Stickers as well. It is running with Android 8.1 and Color OS 5.2. This should get new Android Pie soon.
Impressions: Oppo A7 is using a lower resolution display and we think they should have gone for the FHD panel. Snapdragon 450 is a good processor and 4 GB RAM is also good. If we look a bit more in their own portfolio we can see better phones in just a little addition. We definitely like the battery size of this phone though. It is a good mobile but you can get mobile with better specs if you look a little more.
