Genxt is the official distributor of Apple products in Nepal. The launch list includes iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and iPhone XR. All three models are now available in the Nepali market for purchase. These are very expensive smartphones and all of them cost above Rs 1,00,000 at the time of launch. In the USA the baseline Apple iPhone XR starts at $749 but and it goes up to $1449 for iPhone XS Max. However, the pricing scheme is very different outside the USA.
iPhones are considered the most luxurious and high-end smartphone devices. They are good in terms of quality, design, performance, hardware, and camera. Apple iPhones always have very good benchmark scores and real life performance. They also have a very good camera and no one can deny it. This time the DxOMark of iPhone XS Max is also very high and it is better than Pixel 2 as well. In terms of raw performance, the Apple iPhone XS series comes with an A12 Bionic processor which is a powerful chip. This brings improvements over the last predecessor with a better margin. The most affordable iPhone XR also comes with A12 Bionic but it has a bit different set of hardware compared to the XS series.

Hardware Analysis
In the case of the Apple iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max, there are three color variants. This includes Silver, Gold, and Space Gray. Both phones come in 64 GB, 256 GB, and 512 GB storage models. On the other hand, iPhone XR is available in 64 GB, 128 GB, and 256 GB models. As there is no SD card support in Apple products, you should choose storage wisely. Most people are good with 64 GB and only very few opt for 512 GB. We think 128 GB is actually the sweet sport for smartphones these days.

All the new iPhones are capable of shooting 4K videos at 60 FPS in HDR and the resultant files can be massive. The pictures can also be quite large. Therefore it is better to purchase a higher storage version thinking of the future. While talking of the future, Apple has included a new processor and powerful dual cameras which can ensure that the phones will work well in the coming days. The XS models have dual cameras and 4 GB RAM while the XR just has single camera and 3 GB RAM.
Pricing and Availability
In Nepal and many other markets, iPhone prices are unreasonably high. Despite having a high price, many people buy Apple smartphones. iPhones have now also become a symbol of status, so people buy them. If you are also looking into high-end smartphones, Apple is surely a luxurious option and they are available in Nepal.
