Huawei has launched the new Mate 20 Pro in Nepal just before Tihar 2075. This is the top end flagship from the company. It lies above the Huawei P20 Pro as well. It actually has the world’s first 7 nm processor in any mobile phone. This smartphone packs a lot of new things and score a lot in many tests. Huawei Mate 20 Pro official price in Nepal is Rs 1,29,900. This is the most expensive phone launched by Huawei in Nepal till this date.
The main attraction of this mobile are its specs and the display. Huawei’s triple camera is very famous since the P20 Pro. Mate 20 Pro has a very large 6.39″ ALOMED screen which has a notch at top. The phone has very less bezels and looks pretty amazing. Currently at launch there are no other variants. The above quoted price is for the 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage model. This thing is very pricey and everybody wants to know, if it justifies the price or not. Before jumping into anything, lets see the specs of the mobile first.

Looking at the specs on paper, Mate 20 Pro looks a very solid mobile. It has best and fastest processor in the market. Kirin 980 is industry’s first 7 nm chipset. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro has octa core processor. There are three core sets in this board. It means the phone has two dual core sets and one quad core set. There 2.6 Ghz and 1.92 GHz Cortex A76 dual core sets and there is another 1.8 GHz Cortex A55 quad core set.
The memory and storage is just as usual in market for flagship phone. 6 GB RAM is enough when there is good memory management and with 8 GB it is a lot to play with. The maximum storage available is 256 GB only and to expand there is new Nano Memory. Huawei is not including the standard micro SD card here. This is quite disappointing because people will have to buy new propriety memory card.
The battery is 4200 mAh which is absolutely fantastic for this huge AMOLED display. Display resolution is quite high and it gives a good edge over other flagship in market. It is also HDR 10 compliant which means it is ready for top notch entertainment. Mate 20 Pro is running with Android Pie and EMUI 9.0 on top.
Camera
Camera always deserves a separate spot in Huawei’s flagship news. They are using 3 cameras at the back and they all are very high resolution sensors. Camera placement is in the center part in square pattern unlike P20 Pro. There main primary camera is a 40 MP f/1.8 module. Then there is 20 MP ultra-wide lens and finally 8 MP for Telephoto. These are also from Leica and the back camera setup supports 4K 30 fps video recording and 720p at 960 fps as well. Huawei should have added 4K 60 fps because many enthusiasts like it.
Other features
Huawei Mate 20 Pro is flagship smartphone so it packs all the best features available. There is IP68 rating, Gorilla glass protection, under display fingerprint scanner, fast charging and even reverse charging. Mate 20 Pro can charge other phones from the back of it through wire less charging. It is one of the most interesting feature of this phone. There is a lot about Mate 20 Pro and it fulfills every criteria to be a flagship. The phone looks brilliant on the paper and with a small price settlement, this can be a good bargain.
