Colors recently heated up the market with their awesome Xfactor Elite E-10. This was one of the top-selling best budget smartphones from Colors. Then the company also launched Colors XfactorTrend T30 and Xfactor Pride P30 in the market. Now they have launched a new smartphone, which is the Colors Xfactor Trend T-50. The company states that phones of this series have brilliant functionality, power, and design. Of course, it should be, because that is the basic requirement to have a great phone.
The Colors Xfactor Trend T50 price in Nepal is Rs 9,459. This is a budget smartphone that promises some absolutely amazing features at this price. The last phone from the company was also in a very competitive price range. Now this time the Trend T50 is further below that budget price point so the competition is much harder. Trend T50 has an 8 MP back camera which is its main specialty because most of the mobiles in this price range don’t offer such a camera. The phone offers a quad-core processor, SD quality display, and some other cool features.

The Colors Trend T50 comes with a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor with Cortex A7 architecture. There is Mali 400 GPU and it can do light gaming as well. Pairing with the processor there is 1 GB RAM, 8 GB internal storage, and support for a maximum of 32 GB SD card. 1 GB RAM is a necessity of this time and we are getting it under Rs 10,000 so it is very good. For battery, there is an 1800 mAh battery on the back. The smartphone is running Lollipop OS and the company might push new updates via OTA.
This is a Dual SIM phone that surprisingly supports both normal and micro-SIM. There is also the ability to switch between 2G (Edge) and 3G (HSPA) automatically. This helps in getting better network reception according to the service location. Most of the smartphones that support 3G switch data service between 3G, 3.5G, and 2G according to network quality.
The main hardware details are much better than expected from a phone of such price or budget. Colors Xfactor Trend T-50 is a good competitor against other expensive phones in the market. As for the specification and price range, we can’t demand more.
Display and Cameras

The camera is a really important part of a phone and Colors is not making compromises. There is an 8 MP main camera at back with autofocus, LED Flash, and modes like Live Shot, Time Beauty, etc. At the front, there is a 5 MP camera for video calling and selfies. This camera setup alone gives Trend T50 a better rank in the market.
Impressions and Conclusions
The phone’s battery is just 1800 mAh and the screen is 4.5 inches. On top of all that it is running a quad-core processor on the inside, so we assume it draws a good amount of power. But let us not forget that software and power management play an important role. The battery size is not that big but we give it a pass for having other better things. On the topic of other specs, the Colors Trend T50 is coming with a good quad-core processor, 1 GB RAM, and 8 GB storage which is good for the price.
Colors is providing a beautiful-looking phone, with markets popular hardware at a lower price. Therefore this phone does win in the price range. The gesture features like call receiving by just taking the phone near to ears, and switching from hands-free mode to handset mode make the device more flexible. All these are available in Trend T50. Cameras on both sides are also very good with a high pixel count. Overall, Trend T-50 provides value for money in terms of hardware and software. So it is another great product like Colors after Elite E-10 in this biggest budget range of phone market.
