Samsung is using the Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor everywhere. We can find this chip on many of their phones. It seems that Snapdragon 410 is their go-to choice for mid-range mobile phones. Samsung Galaxy A5 also uses the Snapdragon 410 SoC. The chip has a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and it is paired with 2 GB RAM on this phone. The 2GB RAM or memory is a sweet spot for value and performance. This can help run new apps and games well without lag and issues.

In the Nepali market, Samsung is giving a free 32 GB memory card inside the Galaxy A5 box which is a really good deal. The phone is packing a 2300 mAh battery which is quite good for a phone of this size. This battery can easily power the phone for an entire day with normal usage.
The Galaxy A5 comes with Android 4.4.4 KitKat installed and the Android 5.0 Lollipop is already in development. Samsung will soon roll out the Android OTA update for A5 soon. In terms of hardware, the phone is powerful and offers quite good performance.

Impressions and Conclusion
The new Samsung Galaxy A5 has a very good set of hardware and a beautiful design. It has 2 GB RAM which is plenty of memory at this time. Similarly, this amount of memory also provides a safe path for the future. The processor is Snapdragon 410 which is a good quad-core chip and can do all mid-level work and gaming. Battery size is also perfect for the 5″ AMOLED screen. The screen is bright, sharp, and protected with Gorilla Glass. AMOLED screens are really amazing and moreover, the 720p panel looks brilliant.
Galaxy A5 is one of the best mid-range phones of Samsung to this date. For us, the major attractions are the metallic build and the appropriate size of the screen with a good battery. The screen also has Gorilla Glass 4 protection which is mainly found in flagship phones. This is a device that is very fun to use. It is fast, smooth, responsive and the camera results are also fantastic. For the cost, the official Samsung Galaxy A5 price in Nepal is Rs 38,900 ($380). Assessing everything, we recommend this phone to anyone at this price point. However, if you want the same level of performance and features at a lesser price, Galaxy E7 is certainly the best choice.
