Design and Build
Huawei P9 has flagship-level features and aesthetics. The design is natural and usual to other Huawei devices. The whole body of the smartphone has a metallic construction but the front has plastic. Metal finish gives a luxury feeling and strength. On the front side, there is a screen, Huawei logo, earpiece, camera, and sensors. Then at the back, there is a new and fast 3D fingerprint scanner located below the camera unit. It is a very sensible place and helps to scan the index finger very easily for fast and tight security. The Huawei P9 has two cameras which is very special and these are placed at the top bank on the backside. There is also a dual-LED flash just at the center part of the top side on the back.

The Huawei P9 is powered by a new HiSilicon Krin 955 chipset with an octa-core processor. The processor is a combination of two quad-core processors where one set is clocked at 2.5 GHz and the next at 1.8 GHz. There are two versions in the international market according to RAM and storage options. Nepal is getting the 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage version. However other markets including China are getting 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage versions. Huawei P9 also supports a micro SD card for expanding storage so there is a good provision for space. In regards to the battery, the new P9 has a 3000 mAh battery that can give a good full-day performance. There is also 18W fast charge support for filling the battery in short amount of time.
Camera and Display
The Huawei P9 has a 5.2” IPS-NEO LCD screen with 1080p full HD resolution and 423 PPI pixel density. On top of the screen, there is Gorilla Glass 3 protection as well. The front side also hosts an 8 MP camera that can take 1080p videos.
