Features and analysis
Huawei P20 Pro is one great phone in terms of camera. Now P30 series is replacing it as successor. The P30 Pro already has a very high DxOMark score and wins a lot of other phones. Both P30 and Pro has Kirin 980 which has octa-core CPU. This set consists of 1.8 GHz quad-core processor with one 1.92 GHz and another 2.6 GHz dual-core CPU sets. This is one of the fastest and efficient SoC as it is based on 7 nm fabrication. P30 Lite uses Kirin 710 which as 2.2 GHz and 1.7 GHz quad-core CPU sets.
There are many storage variants of these phones but Nepal is only getting models with memory and storage that we described in the specs above. Except for the Lite, both of the other two phones have OLED screen and HDR10 certification which means that can give great viewing experience. All phones have good cameras and all of them have the same selfie camera but the back side modules are different.
P30 Pro has 4 cameras where 40 MP is the main one just as P30. The additional one is TOF sensor for depth of field details. In the Huawei P30 Pro, the 8 MP module uses periscope structure and combination of lenses to bring 5x optical zoom and 50x digital zoom. The 20 MP sensor is used for ultra wide shot in the P30 Pro while P30 uses 16 MP sensor. On the other hand, the small brother Huawei P30 Lite uses 8 MP ultrawide sensor and 24 MP main sensor.
The P30 Lite can only record videos up to 1080p while other two phones can record at 4k 30 fps. Even though these phones have such a powerful processor there is no 4K 60 fps which is a bit disappointing. On paper, all of these phones look amazing. The Huawei P30 Pro is a great market challenger in flagship tier while P30 Lite is another good option for mid-tier market.
