The race for notch-less display and great design is very tough these days and Samsung is taking a unique path to it. They have gone with Infinity O on Galaxy S10 but this time they have new Infinity display. Galaxy A80 is their new smartphone which has full view display with a rotating camera. It is the world’s first and one of kind. Unlike other phones, there is just one camera that works for both front and back. The same module that lies on the back comes up and rotates to become the front camera. This is very special and it is already on sale in the market. The Samsung Galaxy A80 price in Nepal is Rs 79,990 and it puts it in high end price segment.
Smartphone manufacturers are trying to achieve the ideal look of a smartphone by making the full screen look at the front. They are adding notches, punch holes and using pop up cameras these days. Some manufacturers are even pursuing the hidden front camera or in-display camera technology. We might see them perfected in the future but for now Samsung has Galaxy A80 that has a rotating camera. Its module takes photos from the backside as a normal camera. But when we need to use it as a front camera, the module slides up and rotates. This means users get the same quality pictures from both sides.
It is both powerful, stylish and trendy. The biggest selling points are the camera and screen of the phone. The notchless display with no bezel and punch hole is amazing to look at. This makes it an amazing content consumption device. The internal hardware is also very powerful. It is quite expensive and it matches the price with many flagship devices from Samsung.

Impressions and Analysis
This is a phone that is meant to challenge the design rance on the market. It is beautiful to look at with a very unique camera setup. The hardware inside the Galaxy A80 is powerful but for the price, it is not comparable. Its current MRP is in flagship zone and that makes it sit in a hard position. Samsung Nepal is selling Galaxy S10 at Rs 73,999 in SastoDeal which has far better processor actually. It all depends on taste and need.
The A80 has a very good design and display. It has eye-catching camera technology that will make sure it grabs attention. This phone is for people who want a powerful performance, big screen, great camera, and amazing design. But for price perspective S10e has a better processor and camera sensor. Few things that disappointed us are lack of SD card support, removal of headphone jack and a bit smaller battery. 3700 mAh is quite good but we know Samsung can do even better. They could have opted for a bit bigger one. One thing we assume is that the mechanism of the camera is not allowing bigger battery inside. That may be the case for this battery choice.
In our view, Galaxy A80 is a great option for people who want trendy technology, eye-catching design, and a big display to play games, watch movies and enjoy digital content. This is for the people who want to move along with smartphone technology and fashion. But if you want a solid performer old S9+, S10e and Note 8 are still a great option.
