Huawei P20 and P20 Pro made a lot of noise when they came. This is because they have one of industry’s highest DxOMark reating. It is higher than that of popular iPhone X and even Samsung Galaxy S9+. P20 is a flagship phone by all means but it is brother of Pro. The Huawei P20 Pro price in Nepal is Rs 74,900 for now at launch. They companys hasn’t launched P20 Pro in market but we heard that P20 Lite may come soon.
Compared to last years flagship, this year there are many changes. The biggest change is camera and screen. This year the P20 is featuring 5.8” IPS LCD screen with a notch at top. The screen resolution is 1080×2240 which is taller form factor. Huawei calls it the FullView display. Unlike other phone with tall screen at front and no bezels, it still has a home button at bottom chin.
Everything is powerful from the inside as well. Huawei P20 is rocking Hisilicon Kirin 970 Chipset with octa core processor. The processor is composed of two quad core sets, one is 2.4 GHz and next is 1.8 GHz. Memory and storage options are high as it should be but there is memory card support. In Nepal, the Huawei P20 comes with 4 GB RAM and 128 GB storage.

Huawei always uses Leica camera and this time they got DxOMark score of 102 with it. This is very exciting and shows the impressive power of camera. At the back there is vertically mounted dual camera system. One is 12 MP f/1.8 with OIS and next is 20 MP f/1.6 sensor. The secondary lens is a monochrome sensor and primary is RGB. Maximum video recording capacity is 2160p at 30 fps. Huawei P20 is boasting 24 MP f/2.0 front camera which means no compromise on selfies as well.
The cameras of P20 are fit for all users, may it be photography lovers or selfie lovers. The primary lens at back has OIS but there is AI based stabilization as well for superior results. The new Huawei P20 also supports 960 fps Slow motion video capturing feature which gives brilliant clips. There is software and AI improvement feature in camera for better selfies, portrait and low light shots.
Features and Impression: Huawei P20 comes with 3400 mAh battery and fast charging support. The OS version is Android 8.1 Oreo with EMUI 8.1 over it. This new smartphone is a powerhouse with juicy specs with lots of focus on camera. It is a very interesting mobile and challenges lots of flagship mobiles in the market. On paper everything looks really neat and seems that company is playing its card right.
