Honor mobile phones officially launch in Nepal: 4 Phones Unveiled

Honor smartphones officially stepped in Nepal with 4 handsets at a big launch event. Kratos Technologies Pvt. Ltd is the official distributor for Nepal. Honor is the sub brand of Huawei but the distribution and administration is different in Nepal. The program was hosted in Hotel Annapurna at Durbar Marg of Kathmandu. Company unveiled Honor 7S, 7A, Honor 8X and Honor Play. The company is working to bring more phones to Nepal soon. It is great to have more brands and specially Honor.

Many smartphone lovers were anticipating Honor and now the company is here, people are happy. It adds more diversity and choice to the market. People get more options for their budget because they can get different devices even for smaller price delta. Currently, Honor is starting with budget and mid range phones

Impression and specs of launched phones

The company debuted Honor Play which is a mid range phone with good specs and design. It costs Rs 42,490 at launch. There is 6.3″ IPS LCD screen, Kirin 970 Processor, 3750 mAh battery, 64 GB storage, 4 GB RAM and back camera that can record at 4K. Honor 8 X is another popular phone with much bigger 6.5″ screen, 3750 mAh battery, 128 GB/64 storage, 4 GB RAM and Kirin 710 chipset.

Honor 7A and 7S are the budget offering at launch. 7A has 5.7″ LCD screen, 3000 mAh battery, Snapdragon 430 chipset, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB storage and 13 MP+2 MP camera at back. The 7S has 5.45″ LCD screen, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB storage, 3020 mAh battery and 13 MP camera at back. All these phones have good specs according to the segment they are in. For budget phone 2 GB RAM is minimum and Honor has got it right. For the mid segment they also have 4 GB RAM and 128 GB storage.
