Design and Build
It is a really big phone with 158.8×81.9×7.9 mm dimensions and 209g weight. At the front of the Xiaomi Mi Mix, the screen extends from the very top but there is a small chin at the bottom. It has a grand near bezel-less display which is its prime selling point. However, it is also a risky point because the back such big glass at the front is quite hard to protect. The big display is very vulnerable to crack if it falls because it is mostly screen at the front. We encourage you to use a phone case for safety.
On the back, there is a fingerprint scanner and camera. On the right side, there are the power button and volume rockers. The headphone jack is at the top while the USB port and speakers are at the bottom. As it has a big screen you might be thinking where are the earpiece and camera? Actually, the camera is at the bottom or chin while for the speaker there is a piezoelectric speaker on the inside.

It might be due to very small bezels. As we told earlier, the phone side has a 5 MP camera at the chin. The placement of the front camera at the bottom feels a bit weird for the first time. It is a 5 MP camera with 1080p video recording capability. It actually takes sharp and bright pictures. We took some selfies in the meeting to test the quality.
The camera on the back side of the Xiaomi Mi Mix is also powerful. The backside has a 16 MP sensor which can take 4K videos, supports stabilization with gyro EIS, records HD slow motion videos, and takes great pictures. This shows that Mi Mix has a flagship-quality camera.

Xiaomi Mi Mix is a superb phone with a very futuristic design. It has a mind-blowing and really unique design that no phone in the market has. In our view, Mi Mix is one of the coolest-looking phones right now. The phone actually packs a lot of features and power but it comes with a hefty price tag. It costs over $900 or Rs 94,999 and that is quite a lot. A cherry on top is that it is a 256 GB model because it has no SD card. Another good thing is that Xiaomi is now providing two years software warranty with every product.
In the case of Mi Mix, there are few competitors in this price range in the market. Xiaomi has already said to us many times that the high price is due to market size, import cost, tax, margin, and duties faced while importing from China. In comparison, the price of Mi Mix may seem high, but very few phones come with such powerful specs and cool looks. So overall, this is a high-powered luxury phone and meant for people with money and taste. By the way, Vatsal is also selling the Mix Mix 18K model with gold rims on some parts of its body in Nepal too.
