The official price of Colors S9 in Nepal is Rs 11,995 at launch. It is near to price of S11 at Daraz. New Colors S9 is starting budget range phone with budget level specs, good body and decent camera.
The Colors S9 features a metallic body with 5.2” 720×1280 IPS LCD at front. Top glass is 2.5D which gives it good looks and finish. Inside it runs with 1.3 GHz quad core processor on MediaTek MT6737 SOC. Graphics processing Unit is Mali T720 MP1 on this chipset. S9 is running with 2 GB RAM and 3000 mAh battery. The operating system at launch time is Android 7.0 Nougat.
As market standard and demand, Colors is packing the phone with 16 GB storage. It does support external SD card up to 128 GB. At back there is a fingerprint scanner below camera. The camera department also hosts decent hardware setup. At back, Colors S9 packs 8 MP sensor and at front it packs 5 MP sensor with LED flash. Back side has LED as usual but front size availability marks for better Selfie.

This is a dual SIM phone with one 4G and another at 3G. Primary SIM card slot is for 4G connectivity. Company is offering free Tempered Glass and back cover at purchase which is good deal. In sensors segment, the company is indicating G-Sensor, proximity and fingerprint sensor.
Colors S9 is providing flash at front to help selfie lovers in low light. This is good and will give better results. For back side, 8 MP camera can take videos at maximum of 720p HD. It can take pretty sharp images in day light as well. For the style, 2.5D glass and metal body says it all. These days even budget range phones are providing good build and fingerprint sensor.
We can see that phones are improving these days. As the pricing goes, we recommend to buy Colors S11 at this price bracket by adding some more. But for price being Colors S9 is good phone and stays in very competing price range. Company is providing a decent mobile in the market and surely it would be competitive as far as we know.
