Global Cyber Security Summit 2018 Nepal: Two Days Special Event

(NPCERT) Information Security Response Team Nepal is organizing Global Cyber Security Summit 2018 in Kathmandu. The two day program is going to be held on 27 and 28th July. Theme of the event is “Building Global Alliance for Cyber Resilience”. The event is being hosted in Radisson Hotel at Lazimpat. Lots of esteemed experts are going to speak at the event. There are plans for presentations, discussions, workshop and idea sharing.Keynote speakers are foreign experts mainly from India and others are from Nepal. The speakers are industry specialist of IT, experts, engineers and consultants. The panelists includes people from Government sector and private sector. This includes Department of Information Technology, Nepal Telecommunication Authority and other authorities.

The program objectives include speech from experts. They are going to share new developments, ideas and experience. Presentations, workshop, brainstorming program and network sessions are key highlights. The Network Sessions will let participants meet new persons, share ideas and information.

Major goals of the GCSS 2018 are to share knowledge about cyber security infrastructure, challenges and policy. It also aims to teach new technology to bolster the security and teach analysis. Students should pay Rs 8500, Professionals need to pay Rs 9000 and Corporate should pay Rs 10000. Each person get unique pass according to the fees they paid. The participants get certificate of participation and kits as well.
