Now, for the camera, there is an interesting setup at back. There are two circular camera islands. The upper circular island has two sensors while the lower island has one sensor and one flash LED. One of the most interesting features we like is that Honor is using a 50 MP ultrawide sensor because we mostly see the very low megapixel counts on other phones.

The name of this phone matches with the older model Honor 9X and this is very confusing even to us. So normal users can definitely get confused. Besides that, Honor X9 comes with a 6.81″ IPS LCD screen, FHD+ resolution, and a 90 Hz refresh rate. Underneath the display, there is Snapdragon 680 processor, Adreno 610 GPU, 8 GB RAM, and 128 GB storage but no memory card support. For power, there is a 4800 mAh battery with powerful 66W fast charging.
On the back of the X9, there is a circular camera island with four cameras. The Honor 50 Lite is a phone in the $300 budget segment. It has a 6.67″ LCD screen and 1080p FHD+ resolution. For the internal hardware, there is Snapdragon 662 processor, base 6 GB RAM, and 128 GB storage. Actually, there is an 8 GB RAM model as well but there is no memory card support. There is a 4300 mAh battery to power up the device which comes with 66W fast charging. According to the company’s official site “Hihonor.com”, this charger can give about 40% charge in 10 minutes and that is pretty fast.
The front screen has a single 16 MP camera for selfies at the top left corner. Even though it is a single camera, the hole or cutout is big and looks like it is for two cameras. On the back, there is a 64 MP wide-angle main camera, 8 MP ultrawide camera, 2 MP macro camera, and 2 MP depth camera. This camera set has a maximum video recording capacity of 1080p only.

The Honor X8 is a sub Rs 30K phone with a 6.7″ LCD panel, FHD+ resolution, and 90 Hz refresh rate. It is powered by a Snapdragon 680 processor just like Honor X9. Other companion hardware is 6 GB RAM, 128 GB storage, and a 4000 mAh battery with 22.5W charging. Even though this is a mid-range phone, there is no memory card support. Honor has removed micro SD card support in many of their new phones we are not a fan of that as that is not good for consumers.
In the camera department, X8 has a quad camera system at the back which comprises of 64 MP primary sensor, 5 MP ultrawide sensor, 2 MP depth, and 2 MP macro sensor. All these are arranged in a square camera island on the back. On the front side, there is a 16 MP camera with f/2.5 aperture and FHD video recording capacity inside a hole punch.

This is an upper-budget range smartphone powered by Snapdragon 680 chipset, 4 GB RAM, 128 GB storage, and a 5000 mAh battery. The processor on this device is actually pretty good compared to some phones at this price. Honor X7 also runs with Android 11 OS and Magic UI 4.2 on top. Talking about the top, there is a big 6.74″ LCD screen on the front side with HD+ resolution and a 90 Hz refresh rate. The big screen also has a small notch at the top with an 8 MP camera that has a 1080p video recording capacity.
On the back of the X7, there is two big round camera cutout where the top one houses 1 camera sensor while the bottom circle houses three camera sensors. These days phone manufacturers are testing various camera layouts.
