Everyone has new goals, wants to do things differently, and celebrates the season. New year in Nepal is generally a calm season because it is spring and the flowers start to bloom. So on this beautiful occasion, NTC or NDCL has brought Nepal Telecom New Year Offer 2080. This new offer has a few special schemes available from Chaitra 30th to Baisakh 6th (13th-19th April 2023).
NTC is simply calling this “New Year Offer”. In the scheme, they are primarily providing unlimited data with voice and bonuses and recharge. The major attraction is unlimited data that is available at Rs 49. In that pack, users can get 1 Mbps data for a full day with 100 minutes of on-net voice. Getting unlimited data at Rs 49 or at $0.40 is a great deal compared to foreign countries where data is expensive. Then there is a 6 GB Data pack with 3 days validity. Finally, there are data bonuses on mobile recharges.

At first, there is a “1 Day Combo Pack” that comes at Rs 49 and provides 1 Mbps of unlimited mobile data and unlimited voice for a day. Just a few years ago 1 Mbps fixed line broadband internet was a big thing because unlimited connections allow you to do a lot. This means there is no restriction or data cap. Users can enjoy videos, movie streaming, browse social media sites, download files, do live streams, video conference with friends, and enjoy for 24 hours. In our view, only a few people can truly exploit unlimited 1 Mbps data while other normal users would just be in small data limit.
Data Packs for New Year
Next, there is 6 GB of Data for 3 days which costs Rs 98. This is decent according to the Nepali market but high if we compare it to neighboring Indian prices. If you really want just to use lots of data, take the unlimited package and enjoy but if you are uncertain when you might need lots of data then only take a large data pack.
