Nepal is one of the first markets to get this phone prior to the global launch. It is very fascinating because Nord 2T hasn’t even been announced. The OnePlus Nort 2T is the successor of the old Nord 2 and it is a high-end device in the Nord series. Design and Build
The OnePlus Nord 2T has a regular design with a tall body that has a 20:9 aspect ratio screen at the front. On top of the screen, there is a hole punch at the left with a selfie camera and a speaker grill that is placed between the frame and the screen. The phone has rounded corners and the bezels all around are minimal.
On the left side, there is a volume rocker. Similarly, on the right side, there is the power button and alert slider. On the backside of the phone, there is a big camera island that has three cameras and LED flashes. However, the design is made in such a way that it looks like there are just two cameras. On the camera island, there are two big camera cutouts. The first 50 MP sensor lies inside the top big cutout but the second and third ones are inside the lower big cutout. It is a new practice but honestly, it doesn’t look that attractive.

Internal Hardware: Processor, RAM, Battery
OnePlus is packing the Nord 2T 5G with the latest Mediatek processor out there. On the inside of the OnePlus Nord 2T, there is MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chipset with an octa-core processor and Mali-G77 GPU. This is a high-end SoC that was launched in April of 2022. It features a new Image Signal Processor (ISP), hardware-accelerated AV1 decoding, and features like HyperEngine 5.0 gaming technologies. In pair with the chip, there is a base of 8 GB RAM with 128 GB storage and 12 GB RAM with 256 GB storage.
The phone has a 4500 mAh battery on the inside with 80W fast charging support. OnePlus is using SUPERVOOC charging which is popular in Oppo mobiles. As both companies share the same parent company, OnePlus is sharing some technologies and even software. This type of fast charging is great because it allows to fill up the battery in a short amount of time. One good thing about this product is that company is providing a fast charger inside the retail box which is also a big advantage over its competitors.

Screen and Cameras
The OnePlus Nord 2T has a 6.43″ AMOLED screen at the front with FHD+ resolution, 90 Hz refresh rate, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The screen covers the front side quite well and bezels remain minimum. On the top left corner, there is a hole punch that hosts a 32 MP Sony IMX615 sensor front-facing camera. This selfie camera is capable of taking FHD videos at maximum resolution.
On the backside of the phone, there are three cameras and two LED flashes. The top camera cut has a primary 50 MP camera which is actually Sony IMX766 sensor with an f/1.9 aperture. This main camera has optical image stabilization (OIS) and can record 4K videos at maximum capacity. Then at the lower cutout, there is an 8 MP ultrawide angle camera with a 120˚ field of view. Inside the same big lower cutout there is a 2 MP monochrome sensor for taking depth information. OnePlus actually should have chosen a more useful and value-adding sensor like a telephoto or depth sensor instead of a monochrome sensor.
