Along with that pre-booking for the device is also starting. The registrations for pre-orders start today August 17th and ends on the 31st of August. The company is planning to launch Note9 very soon after the launch in India and major international markets. There are various offers for the people who pre-order the device. A few days ago, Samsung Nepal provided us the chance to experience Galaxy Note 9 in a media event. In our initial impression, we can say that this is a very gorgeous device. In terms of general usage, the device feels super smooth, powerful, and premium. We took a couple of photos and they were also fantastic. In the general first look, Note9 feels better than Galaxy Note 8. We will also publish a full review after testing the device thoroughly.

Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Price in Nepal and Pre-Booking Details
The official MRP for the 128 GB variant of Galaxy Note 9 in Nepal is Rs 1,09,900. This is close to the USA price of $999.99. Samsung is selling the new upgraded Note at a price very close to the international market. Considering the higher USD exchange rate, the newly increased tax imposed by the government, more storage, bigger battery, and improvement this seems to be a reasonable price. By reasonable we meant, good for a flagship. The company is also offering lots of great offers to compensate for the higher price.
Special Offers for Pre-Booking Customers
There are two different offers for customers who pre-book Galaxy Note 9 in Nepal. There are gifts, discounts, and lucky draws as well. These are the added benefits that customers can get when they pre-book the phone. Usually, it is beneficial to pre-book if you are certain to get the smartphone because these offers never repeat and it is hard to get such deals in the future. However, we always advocate seeing reviews before making a purchase decision.
In Nepal, pre-ordering customers have two options to choose from.
- HDMI Adapter and Leather Wallet Cover.
- HDMI Adapter and 24″ Curved LED Monitor (Additional Rs 10,000 required).
Customers can choose between these two packages. Either you can get an HDMI adapter and wallet cover. Else you can get an HDMI adapter and a new 24″ Samsung monitor by paying Rs 10,000 more. The Galaxy Note 9 is for power users and it comes with a new improved Dex which requires a monitor. That is what brings greatness to the table. It can now partially replace a computer so a monitor makes more sense. Users can do their simple office tasks of editing or viewing documents, using the internet, making PowerPoint presentations, and working in excel with just an HDMI Adapter and monitor.
Obviously, users would need a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse for getting full potential but with just two more items, it can do the work of a simple laptop. In our experience improved Dex, a bigger battery and a new S Pen make productivity much more pleasant for power users. We see high potential for travelers because they can use the TV in hotels as their screen. So travelers just need a small keyboard with a touchpad or mouse to get started.
Added Benefits: Data Pack, Breakage Insurance, Lucky Draw
Samsung is providing data packs just like in previous offers. The company is giving 1800 MB of data from Ncell. It is packed as 2000 MB for 9 weeks. Sikhar Insurance is providing 1-year insurance with breakage coverage as well. Easy EMI is also available from Nabil Bank, Global IME, Laxmi Bank, Hulas Investment, and Kumari Bank Limited.
There is also a lucky draw competition where customers can win a business class round trip, Samsung Gear Fit 2 Pro, a 2 nights stay at BB Basis at Pokhara, and Rs 10,000 worth of gift package from Let Me In.

In the Nepali market, three color options are coming which include Midnight Black, Metallic Copper, and Ocean Blue. Our personal favorite is Ocean blue due to its uniqueness and the new S Pen. However, my personal all-time favorite is black so I would prefer Midnight Black with Yellow S Pen.
