Samsung Nepal has launched the Galaxy M32 in the market. It is the new mid-range M series smartphone with an interesting set of hardware. The Samsung Galaxy M32 is the successor of Galaxy M31 AND goes hand in hand with Galaxy A22. These days the M series and A series phones have less division and they are getting closer. However, the Galaxy M32 has an interesting case with its screen and battery. Samsung is marketing Galaxy M32 as “Binge Monster”. There are a couple of reasons but the main reason for the tagline is battery and screen.
According to Samsung, Galaxy M32 is the ultimate go-to smartphone for binge-watching movies, videos, and consuming content. Design and Build
Samsung Galaxy M32 has a plastic build with a reflective stripped bar design at the back. The phone has a dimension of 159.3 x 74 mm and 8.4 mm thickness. On the front side, there is a speaker grill at the top, an OLED screen with an Infinity-U notch, and a small chin at the bottom. On the right side of the Galaxy M32, there is the volume rocker and power button with the fingerprint scanner embedded. Similarly, there is a speaker grill, USB Type-C, and headphone jack on the bottom side. This is a very standard design of Samsung smartphones.
Core Internals
The Samsung Galaxy M32 has a Mediatek Helio G80 octa-core processor with a Mali-G52 MC2 GPU on the inside. Mediatek Helio G80 processor is a mid-range processor that has a performance on the line of Snapdragon 675. It has features such as HyperEngine Game Technology, CorePilot, and Pump Express. These features help to extract a bit more power from the CPU for games and workloads.
There are two memory and storage variants of Galaxy M32. The first one comes with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage. The other version comes with 6 GB RAM 128 GB storage. Both models have support for a memory card of up to 1 TB. Galaxy M32 is quite a powerhouse in terms of battery because it has a 6000 mAh Li-Ion battery with 25W fast charging. However, the company only ships a 15W charger with the box. So, if you want faster charging you need to spare more from the pocket. Samsung India’s website claims that the phone can provide 25 hours of video playback time and 24 hours of internet usage on WiFi and LTE.

Display and Cameras
Samsung Galaxy M32 has a 6.4″ Super AMOLED screen with a 90 Hz refresh rate and 1080×2400 FHD+ resolution. This is a very good screen for a mid-range smartphone. Samsung is slowly pushing high refresh rate OLED to their affordable products. This is a big screen and it can provide a fluid user experience with its higher refresh rate. It can also be an entertainment and content-consuming companion with its big display, high resolution, and 800 nits bright screen. The screen has a small Infinity-U notch at the top that houses the 20 MP f/2.2 camera.
The backside of the Galaxy M32 has a square camera island with 4 modules and a LED flash below it. Firstly, there is a 64 MP primary shooter with PDAF. Secondly, there is a common 8 MP ultrawide camera module with a 123˚field of view. Then there is a 2 MP depth-sensing camera, and a 2 MP macro camera. The maximum video recording capability of rear cameras is 1920×1080 at 30 fps. This is quite low and it should be at least 1080P at 60 fps and 4K at 30 fps with such capable processors. Both the sensors and processor are capable of processing better videos. So Samsung and other companies should enable it.

The Samsung Galaxy M32 price in Nepal is Rs 24,999 for the 4/64 GB model and the price of the 6/128 GB model is Rs 27,999. Both models are available all across Nepal through offline stores and online platforms in Black, Light Blue, and White, color options. The Galaxy M32 a better option compared to Galaxy A22 due to its higher resolution and bigger battery but for camera lovers, OIS is also quite important. So, it is a choice of the user to make according to priority.
