The Galaxy Z Flip 3 5G is only available in the 256 GB model at the time of launch in Nepal. It would have been better to have the 128 GB model as well because that could have been a bit cheaper and affordable to customers. Design and Build
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 has a very interesting and attractive folding design. It has a vertical tall screen that folds in half and the entire phone fits inside the palm of the user. The phone has an aluminum and glass construction with a flexible inner screen plus water-resistant protection. Galaxy Z Flip3 has a dimension of 166 x 72.2 mm when unfolded with 6.9 mm thickness and a dimension of 86.4 x 72.2 mm with 15.9-17.1 mm thickness when folded. The phone comes in new color options of Cream, Lavender, and Phantom Black.
There is a flexible screen on the inside and there is Gorilla Glass protection on the outside. All of this is supported on a metallic frame. However, the Flip has some changes in hardware specs such as battery, memory, and storage. On the inside, there is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G processor with 8 GB RAM. It is a powerful processor that can give power for gaming, workloads, heavy apps, and entertainment. The Galaxy Z Flip3 comes with only 8 GB RAM and two storage options. They are 128 GB and 256 GB on-board storage options. The phone has a good amount of space but no support for a micro SD card.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 is powered by a 3300 mAh battery which is same as the last year’s Galaxy Z Flip 5G. It has support for wired, wireless, and reverse wireless charging modes. There is 15W wired fast charging, 10W fast wireless charging, and 4.5W reverse wireless charging. Display and Cameras
Unlike the horizontally opening screen of the Fold, the Galaxy Z Flip3 has a vertically folding screen. It has a 6.7″ Foldable Dynamic AMOLED 2X with 1080 x 2640 resolution. It also has a 120Hz refresh rate, 1200 nits peak brightness, and HDR10+ rating. The faster refresh rate provides a snappier user experience in daily use and gaming. Peak brightness helps to see content and screen in a sunny outdoor environment. HDR10+ and 1200 nits brightness together provide a better movie and video watching experience to the users. At the top of the screen on the internal side, there is a hole punch with a 10 MP camera which is capable of recording 4K videos at fps.
The front side of the Galaxy Z Flip 3 has a small 1.9″ Super AMOLED cover screen that can show previews, notifications, and messages.
