2) Kathmandu University School of Engineering
It is the central engineering college of KU in Dhulikhel. It is in the Kavreplanchowk district of Bagmati state. KU SOE only teaches at the central college for now. Kathmandu University is one of the most prestigious and high ranking universities in Nepal. They have a very high rank and reputation in Nepal. In addition, they also have a very high global ranking compared to other colleges. Moreover, KU comes before TU in international raking for B.E. KEC is Tribhuvan University affiliated college. It is situated at Kalimati in Kathmandu district. It has a very good name in this education sector. They are known for having good faculty and results. Kathmandu Engineering College is one of the most sought private after colleges in the valley. They offer seats in various subjects. 5) Nepal Engineering College (nec)
It is the first private engineering college in Nepal. Nepal Engineering College is affiliated to Pokhara University. However, it started as the first private college of TU. Later on, it took affiliation with PU. The main college is located near Changunarayan temple in Duwakaot, Bhaktapur. The institute has a spacious infrastructure, survey areas, labs, and full-time teachers. Above all, most of the faculties in the college are full time. nec offers Bachelor and Master in two different locations. BE is offered in Duwakot. Similarly, M.Sc is offered in nec-CPS, Prayag Pokhari. Finally, Bachelor for Diploma Holders (BDH) is offered at Mahalxmisthan. BDH study happens at night time.
The college is on the outskirt of the district. Moreover, we can say it is on the border of Kathmandu and Bhaktapur district. Public buses are available to go to college. Himalayan College of Engineering

They are also very popular among aspirants. HCOE offers Architecture, Computer, and Electronics. Most of the departments have 48 seats in total. However Civil has 96 seats.
